Sr Sales Executive

The North America New Accounts & Expansion sales team is hiring a motivated, self-driven sales professional to lead the sales acceleration of our travel agency business. The key goal for this role is build strategic relationships and identify opportunities to grow our North America sales pipeline. This includes designing long-term client engagement strategy, establishing, and managing C-level and other relevant relationships in the accounts, negotiating and sales closing.Â
This is a hunter role on a newly re-organized team, and it can be done from various locations in the U.S. near a major airport.Â
Responsibilities:Â

Utilize internal data and tools, tap into industry relationships and leverage savvy networking skills to generate new sales leadsÂ

Effectively communicate product value, features, and benefits unique to each buying scenario in a compelling mannerÂ

Build trusting and productive relationships with key influencers, industry organizations, teammates and internal partnersÂ
-
Build expertise in travel technology, landscape, overall market trends and Sabre’s product suiteÂ
-
Synthesize information learned from customers to provide meaningful market insights to improve products, marketing, and sales effortsÂ

Represent company at industry events (travel 10-25% of time)Â

The ideal candidate will have:Â

Fundamental understanding of travel agencies and extensive knowledge of the travel market landscape including competitive information, key trends, strengths, opportunities, and threats. (preferred)Â

Sales experience in the travel agency community with demonstrated success in meeting sales goals and growing revenueÂ

Above average analytical ability and a knack for using data to generate leads and identify opportunitiesÂ
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills that convey passion while also building credibilityÂ
-
A can-do attitude that overcomes obstacles and fuels internal motivation to reach goalsÂ
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceÂ
Nice To Have Skills:Â

Familiarity with travel supplier distribution, and current trends, such as NDCÂ

Experience using Salesforce as a CRM, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Â

Formal training in sales methodology, preferably Miller HeimanÂ
