About the Team

The Service Health team plays a key role in ensuring Workday technical teams have accurate real-time and historical visibility into the health of application services.

About the Role

We are looking for a hard-working individual to innovate and scale creative solutions that will enhance visibility into the health and performance of our applications and services. You will identify key application metrics, data sources, workflows, and overall system design to define and implement an SLO based view of the customer experience. You will partner with software engineers, technical operations, and architecture to build solutions.

Your goal will be to increase visibility into not only the health and performance of our customer's experience, but also to provide data, insights, and workflows to facilitate fast root cause analysis and mitigation of customer impacting issues.

In this position, you will have a critical role collaborating and problem solving not only with our team, but with a variety of teams in our development organization to improve the reliability of our services.

About You

We are open to hiring a Sr SRE or a SRE. You are a quick learner and excited to learn new technologies. You use experience and data to make decisions. You love blazing new paths.

Basic Qualifications

For SRE

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
• 3 or more years of distributed software design & development experience
• Scripting Skills (Python), Shell , Java
• Experience with at least one commonly available enterprise logging solution such as Splunk, Sumo Logic, DataDog

for Sr SRE

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience
• 5 or more years of distributed software design & development experience
• Scripting Skills (Python), Shell , Java
• Experience with at least one commonly available enterprise logging solution such as Splunk, Sumo Logic, DataDog

Other Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Cloud operations preferred.
• Ability to lead collaborative ideation and technical design sessions across various product teams
• Ability to manage high expectations from multiple directions with the proven track record to focus on objectives
• Can work independently and with the attitude that everything can be automated
• Excited by working in a fast-paced environment

Workday Pay Transparency Statement - United States

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location: USA.GA.Atlanta

Primary Location Base Pay Range: $128,200 - $192,200

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $121,800 - $216,000
