THE JOB:
As a Sr. Slot Technical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the department in accordance with departmental and property practices, policies, and procedures. This includes oversight of maintenance scheduling and installation of equipment and managing the team. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guestโs experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their time with us.ย
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Take care of the maintenance and performance of slot and table games equipment. Stay updated on new technology and train the Slot Technical team.
- Handle moving, installing, removing, converting, and repairing machines according to regulations. Keep records of all machines, including compliance documents and machine moves.
- Manage HR tasks for the department, such as promoting teamwork, giving feedback, recognizing achievements, hiring, training, and planning for future staffing needs. Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Order and maintain parts inventory, working with Corporate Slot Strategy to keep enough stock. Complete necessary paperwork and help with invoice payments for leased machines and parts.
- Schedule slot projects on the property and coordinate with the Corporate Slot Strategy team. Adjust staffing levels based on business needs and budget.
- Act as a go-between for vendors and the property. Work with different departments on slot and casino projects.
- Respond to special requests from the VP Casino Operations, Director Casino Operations, and Corporate Slot Strategy.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Has a bachelorโs degree or has at least 4 years of equivalent experience in casino operations.
- Has at least 2 years of casino management experience.
- Possesses strong interpersonal skills, proficient in computer operations, and comprehensive casino operational knowledge.
