THE POSITION
Be part of the international software development team to develop embedded software for Radio, Radio-Navigation or Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GSM / 4G LTE features based) products to meet OEM customer requirements. Be involved through-out the software development life cycle (project planning, requirement definition and analysis, architecture analysis and definition, design, implementation, integration and validation), field-test and maintenance of the embedded software.
Core Responsibilities:
-Responsible for the activity definition and deliverables of a SW agile team. -Will lead SW development from the project perspective in order to prioritize and plan the activities within the team. -Will be the interface with the external stakeholders for any negotiation or work definition. -Collaborates with Product Managers to plan and deliver solutions according to project and customer needs.
Additional Responsibilities:
-Defines and prioritizes the activities for the development team.
-Identify risks and generates the action plan, as well as communicates these to stakeholders.
-Helps define the customer needs for his team and generates a roadmap and vision about the team strategy.
-Leads and approves the team planning.
-Establishes open communication and team culture within the team.
-Defines the acceptance criteria for team deliverables. based on the quality standards from the department.
-Establish & monitor objective feedback channels to measure the performance of the organization.
-Aligns team vision and goals with those from the product.
- Pro-actively drive the quality in the project; Make the project team sensitive to improve the process & product quality.
- Ensure use of preventative quality assurance measures according to company standards.

Job Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 2+ years in embedded software development.
- Experienced in project planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline.
- 3+ years experience in product development, meeting timelines, project planning, and providing technical leadership to internal or external customers.
- Experience in automotive business.
- Experience in the system architecture development of complex embedded Systems.
-Experience with automotive HW and SW.
