DETAILS: ACI Worldwide is looking to fill a Sr. Software Engineer position in Elkhorn, Nebraska located at 6060 Coventry Drive, Elkhorn, NE 68022 (may telecommute part of time from home residence within Omaha, NE MSA). Job Summary: Implements, configures and plays a lead role in the design and development of complex business problems pertaining to ACI software delivery and product architecture. Assists in architectural designs on existing systems as well as designing replacement enterprise applications. Determines system specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility. Coordinating design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions. Job Accountabilities: Engineers, configures, and assists in the architecting of complex technical solutions for applications/systems implementations and upgrades based on specific business requirements. Solutions may be new, existing, in-house, third party or a combination. Researches and evaluates new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities within the company's products. Assists in the formulation and execution of test plans for Proof of Concepts. Works with internal and external customers and vendors to resolve technical system problems in a timely manner with a primary focus on complex problems. Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree (foreign equivalent accepted) in computer science or a related field and 7 years' progressively responsible experience in the occupation or a related field. Experience must include the following specific experience and knowledge:

• 7 years' Java software development experience including the following specific experience and skills:
  • 7 years' hands-on experience with MSSQL Queries, JDBC and Stored Procedures.
  • 7 years' experience in web and application servers such as Apache Tomcat, IBM Websphere, or Jboss, etc.
  • 7 years' experience on databases such as Oracle, MSSQL and MySql.
  • 7 years' experience in implementing APIs using in REST/SOAP.
  • 7 years' experience with creating and reviewing product/project deliverables according to the life cycle methodologies (i.e., impact assessments, external and internal specifications, manuals, education material, etc.).
  • 4 years' experience in java native API to integrate with other on-premise as well as cloud applications.
  • 4 years' experience with setting up product configurations in the software fulfillment applications.
  • 4 years' experience with file encoding algorithm such as SHA256 using Java.
  • 4 years' experience with implementing secure coding with respect to application security.
  • 4 years' experience in software product development lifecycle, product hierarchy, and relationship
  • 4 years' experience in providing technical solutions to teams across IT on integrating enterprise applications such as Salesforce to on-prem in house applications, Atlassian Jira to Salesforce, Oracle PDH to Salesforce.
  • 3 years' experience on various integration tools such as Oracle SOA, Oracle BPM, Workato and Java APIs using REST/SOAP technologies.
