Job Summary:

In this role you will apply your technical expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis. Whether balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders or supporting more senior staff on complex projects, you use data and analysis and apply your experience, judgment, and risk mindset across your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Technology lead developer for Compliance sanction screening system: planning, design, develop/implement code/configuration for Sanction screening application. Ensure optimum performance, high availability and stability of solutions.
  • Installing, Upgrading, Configuring the off the shelf vendor product - developed in Oracle/JAVA/C++ on AIX/UNIX environment.
  • Lead and mange projects throughout the system SDLC lifecycle to meet functional goals, budget constraints and delivery timeline.
  • Own all design and architectural decisions, delivery of all project documents functional design, detailed design, DUT plan, implementation plan. Review SIT, UAT, system tuning and performance testing plan.
  • Able to research and learn new methodologies and technologies and bring knowledge to the team
  • Ready, willing, and able to pick up new technologies and pitch in on story tasks (design, code, test, CI/CD, deploy, etc.)
  • Perform analysis to determine and verify business requirements/issues specification, flows anddeliverables for projects.
  • Perform application support for Compliance applications; Troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of software development experience in implementing technologies and/or vendor platforms to service the business needs.
  • 5+ years of programming experience in a modern language such as Unix Shell Scripting, PL/SQL, C++/Java, MQ and Oracle.
  • Proficient in development, Unix Shell Scripting and PL/SQL.
  • Hands on experience in HP QC, UNIX, AIX, MQ, Tidal, Autosys, Shell/Perl scripting for alerting/reporting/automation.
  • Sound knowledge of wire scanning process. Different list, OFAC, Acuity, Internal and external, alert review, list management, defining rules, system tuning and scaling system.
  • Lead and mange projects throughout the system SDLC lifecycle to meet functional goals, budget constraints and delivery timeline.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of developing/leading at all levels of the application stack (front end/UI, middle/services and back end/database).
  • Excellent communication skills and flexible and adaptable to new environments. Ability to quickly learn new systems, products and businesses; Proactive and result oriented.
  • Ability to independently manage, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, projects and responsibilities.
  • Nice to have knowledge of wire payment messaging standards FedWire, CHIPS, SWIFT, ACH and trade finance messaging standards.
