Job Description

Sr Software Engineers (Engines) for Airline Tariff Publishing Company (ATPCO), will report to our Dulles, VA HQ loc and may work remotely. Software engineering in fast-paced agile environ to implement, enhance & maintain apps & services. Analyze, design, dev, test, integrate, debug, doc & implement sw. Make tech designs, docs & convey solutions [sols]. Put archit strategies & standards into sols. Program w/ reuse. Dev & execute implem plans & release mgmt. Manage artifacts per SDLC. Ensure team follows dev’t standards. Bring modifics. Do high lvl detailed estimates for analyses, plans, & impact assessments. Own tech issues incl anticipate, mitigate, fix, & escalate. Plan, org & track tech deliverables. Stay current in programming techniques, tools, & emerging tech. Propose/implem sols. Integrate design strategies, app specs, dev’t schedules, & user expectations into artifacts. Contribute to cross-functional teams. Present info in forums for knowledge-sharing. Train &/or mentor. May undergo background checks. Wage: $123,960 - $128,000 annually.

Must have Bachelors in Comp Sci, IT, Electrical Engr, Mech Engr or related field, and 5 yrs relevant tech/software development exp. Requires the following skills: (5 yrs exp) in Java and Agile; and (3 yrs exp) in performance tuning, Jenkins, Spring (incl Spring Boot), REST/RESTful Webservices, Automation Testing, JIRA, Maven, Junit, Java Concurrency, Git, and NoSQL.
