Sr Software Engineer in Test

We are open to this role being 100% remote within the United States. Unfortunately, Henry Schein One is unable to hire individuals residing in North Dakota, Hawaii, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Puerto Rico, or other US Territories. This role will only consider W2 candidates and not C2C candidates.
Job Summary
As a Sr Software Engineer in Test, you will be working on the Dentrix Enterprise product creating Test Automation using Test Complete. You will be responsible for monitoring nightly regression runs and investigating failures.
What You Will Do

• Record defects found and provide sufficient information for the resolution of those defects
• Document in the test management software: test cases, test suites, and test plans designed for functional and regression testing of the product
• Establish a high level of code quality by writing automation tests, participating in code reviews, executing test cases at the acceptance testing level as part of the functional and regression testing of the product
• Implement code that demonstrates a good understanding of design patterns, test automation, continuous integration/deployment, versioning, etc.
• Provide recommendations for continuous improvement on test automation frameworks
• Attend all meetings necessary for the seamless delivery of the product as part of the SDLC

Travel/Physical Demands

• Travel typically less than 10%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.

Qualifications
Must Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of test automation and/or software development experience
• Demonstrated experience with Test Complete and JavaScript
• Understanding of client server architecture and desktop applications and their testing
• Ability to implement test automation derived from technical specifications, code analysis and general product requirements
• Excellent knowledge of test cases, test plans, test suites and application design patterns
• Ability to problem-solve in a technical space
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Act as a resource for colleagues

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Grafana K6 or JMeter for performance and load testing

The posted range for this position is $83,000 - $130,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for a 10% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
