What you will achieve

The Enterprise Shared Services (ESS) Team has an immediate opening for a Senior (.NET and React) full stack developer. This position will be part of a large, distributed and tightly-knit team dedicated to implementing, enhancing and supporting the core services for Sabre Hospitality Solutions.

Responsibilities will range from implementing/enhancing services to troubleshooting critical production issues and identifying/remediating poor performing code. Communication skills and collaborative development and problem solving will be critical to success in this position. A demonstrated thirst/inclination/passion for technology is highly valued

As a Senior Software Engineer (REACT/ .Net) you will:• Assist in the full development lifecycle of enterprise Web applications using React, Redux, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Node.JS, and other modern JavaScript and Web Technology.• You will design and code applications using advanced technology; envisioning system features and functionality throughout development life cycle• Determine design methodologies and complete programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.• Assess and recommend the best technical solutions for complex projects• Create new ideas to improve application performance, stability and security.• Control quality of coding and implementation• Multitask and supervise work of junior team members • Support users by developing documentation and assistance tools.• Work in a fast-paced environment• Bring a passion to learn and the best development practices to the team• Accurately estimate software development projects based on business requirements. • Work closely with other cross functional teams in doing design, development & deployment of the application

The successful candidate will have

Skills:• Strong experience with REACT / .Net with experience on design patterns.• Minimum 5 years recent related web application development experience• Web or mobile application development work experience using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript• Work experience with modern JavaScript ES6• Experience with Cloud and containerization is a plus• Experience with developing and consuming REST APIs• Research and recommend design options and create proof of concepts for potential design feasibility for the application• Have experience participating in Agile practices such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), refactoring, and design principles like DRY, SOLID, etc.• Understanding of highly complex engineering systems like parallelization, multithreading.

Ideal Background:• Typically, 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience as Senior Software Engineer• Proven programming skills with strong computer science fundamentals with bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering• Experience in hospitality or travel domain is a plus
