Senior Software Engineer - Ruby or Java - Remote

Job Purpose
The MX mission of "Financial strength for everyone" is ambitious. If you are experienced in Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and Ruby-on-Rails or Java, we'd love to discuss your work, vision and ambition. If you have experience in continuous delivery of server-side software from concept to delivery and are passionate about collaborating with DevOps, we'd love to discuss the part you will play in the optimization and scale of our massively distributed ESB. If you take pride in your ability to develop and maintain clean and consistent RESTful API's and experience with financial API's, we'd love to talk technique. If you have an interest in collaborating with product, and partners and support to deliver an exceptional product experience, we look forward to hearing from you soon.

What you'll get to do
- Build state of the art software with other bright minded engineers
- Identify, document, and follow up on issues and feature requests
- Take pride in your ability to develop and maintain clean and consistent RESTful API's and experience with financial API's
- Make meaningful contributions to a product designed to better people's lives
- Contribute to our platform with automated services
You'll do it using your
- Expertise composing Enterprise Service Bus, leveraging systems like Mule, Service Mix, Fuse
- Experience with Ruby on Rails and Java development and passion for backend web services
- Bachelor's Degree in CS or comparable industry experience
- Experience building, implementing and working with microservice architectures
- Proficiency working in Unix/Linux environments
- Proficiency with Git or another version control system
- Love for clean, maintainable, discoverable code
- Experience with distributed systems, Postgres and RabbitMQ and Redis
