This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineer to contribute to the development of scalable, high-performance applications in the insurance technology space. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work on modern web applications, combining strong front-end expertise with robust backend development to improve system performance and user experience. Accountabilities:
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.Contribute to both new feature development and ongoing improvements to existing applications.Build and maintain modern front-end applications using Angular and integrate them with backend services.Participate in code reviews, offering detailed feedback and guidance to maintain code quality and engineering standards.Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver user-focused solutions.Monitor application performance across environments, identifying and resolving technical or performance issues proactively.Contribute to automated testing practices to maintain high reliability and code quality.Share technical insights during discussions to help identify risks, opportunities, and architectural improvements.Improve internal processes, documentation, and development practices to support continuous engineering excellence.Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation across the development team.Requirements:
8+ years of professional experience in software engineering, including mentoring or guiding team members.Strong expertise in Angular (v17+) for building scalable front-end applications.Solid backend development experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET frameworks.Proficiency working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data-driven applications.Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and working with distributed systems and service-based architectures.Strong knowledge of modern development practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing.Familiarity with tools and technologies such as ASP.NET Core, MVC, Entity Framework, Dapper, Dependency Injection, NUnit, xUnit, Moq, Postman, Jest, Splunk, DataDog, and Git.Experience building and optimizing Angular architectures using component-based design patterns.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex technical issues.Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts within engineering teams.Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving development practices.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is beneficial but not strictly required.Benefits:
