UKG is seeking a passionate Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to help our team define test strategies, develop, and execute automated and manual test scripts while helping to ensure the delivery of robust, high quality product releases.

Duties and Responsibilities:• Develop and execute software test strategies and perform functional black box and white box, integration, system, and regression tests.• Document formal test plans, protocols, and reports.• Track and triage defects.• Support design, development, and testing of enterprise availability and supportability platform.• Develop, write, and review product lifecycle deliverables, including product backlog, requirements specifications, sprint plans, risk analyses and traceability documentation.• Configure and validate software tools for product design, development, and testing.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications • Computer Science/Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent experience • Knowledge of software development life cycle, QA methodology and software testing standards• 3+ years of experience as a QA Engineer writing automated tests with C# and JavaScript• Experience writing and executing complex functional test cases and test plans at both the functional and feature level• Ability to write SQL/noSQL queries.• Experience with event-driven architecture and testing patterns• Experience testing REST-based API preferably using REST Assured (2+ years)

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):• Quality Assurance certifications.• Experience with agile/lean development methodologies such as Kanban or Scrum• Familiarity with Looker, LookML, and Postman.• In-depth experience testing large-scale, high-availability SaaS or PaaS solutions in the cloud.• Familiarity with automated testing tools (Selenium, Nunit, NightWatch )• Ability to perform risk, cybersecurity, and usability assessments.
