Job Summary
This position is responsible for complex preparation, retrieval, tracking, delivery and storage of internal and external documents that the Special Investigations Department (SID) needs to operate more efficiently; and interacts with multiple HCSC departments such as Legal, Medical Management, Customer Service, Provider Affairs and Marketing.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or 4 years of experience
* 1 year experience in document preparation and handling such as: letter preparation, mailing and tracking, receipt and indexing incoming documents, preparing documents as serialized exhibits to investigative case files, tracking requests to providers and members, monitoring work queues, and utilizing various computer systems to retrieve, print, and compile documents relevant to an investigation.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* PC proficiency to include WORD, EXCEL, Power Point and MS Outlook
* Effective interpersonal skills.
* Effective organizational skills.
* Effective research skills.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS
* BCBS Customer Service and/or Claims processing experience
* Knowledge and experience using Blue Chip and/or Facets
