What Product or Services Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

Job Summary

The Sr Specialist, Product and Solutions Marketing is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. This job is responsible for inventory needs and execution for Cardinal Health Front end Programs. This job will have ownership of Front end promotions programs. The Product/ Market Specialist maintains department established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level.

Responsibilities

  • Plans and coordinates the logistics of conferences, congresses, and events to increase product and brand awareness.
  • Prepares new product information that will be included in promotional materials.
  • Prepares other ad-hoc communications as requested.
  • Sets up exhibition space and displays promotional materials.
  • Manages a series of marketing reports on a routine basis including master marketing agreements, inventory management of promotional items and order fulfillments
  • Manages autoships and monthly inventory holdouts for monthly programs
  • Oversees marketing fax program targeted for retail independent pharmacies
  • Executes all B2B custom mailings
  • Manages prebook ordering and execution, new items, displays, rX to OTC switches
  • Provide assistance to the Pay in Product (PIP) program
  • Assist with other ad-hoc marketing initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience, preferred
  • BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field, preferred
