Job Description

• Design, build, configuration, and documentation of technical components including enhancements, modifications, corrections to deliver business functionality for across multiple technologies
• Conduct prototyping sessions with business and IT resources to ensure clarity of requirements
• Lead design and code review sessions
• Develop new capabilities
• Provide strong hands-on technical expertise building code or performing install/configuration of application components, coordinate activities across domains, and integrate technology when required
• Partner with Product stakeholders to fully understand objectives, provide solutions, and deliver sound technical products enabling business results
• Identify opportunities for and contribute to improvements in standards, and processes to support a continuous improvement approach
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint review and sprint retrospective
• Understand, plan, and execute with a strong focus on balancing risks and value. Identify risks proactively and develop mitigation plans
• Communicate effectively and proactively with IT stakeholders and articulate ideas and recommendations clearly
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, proactively assess, and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization
• Work with limited direction, within a complex environment, to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels
• Troubleshoot/resolve production/operational issues as needed

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•5+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 7+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
•5 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Hands on experience with Python, Java/J2EE, SQL/NoSQL DB, Linux, and JavaScript
•Experience with web services standards and related technologies (HTTP/S, Spring, XML, JSON, REST, Angular)
•Strong knowledge of source code version control and hands on experience with Git/Bitbucket
•Expertise in configuring CI/CD pipeline using industry standard tools such as Jenkins
•Expertise in JUnit and other test automation frameworks like Selenium
•Expertise with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and project/requirements management tools like JIRA, Riley, TFS
•Very good understanding in all phases of SDLC, security requirements, multi-tier application development, deep understanding of network protocols, test driven development, SDK development - maintenance and support
•Strong conceptual and analytic skills
•Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively
•Proven problem-solving skills and ability to respond resourcefully to new demands, priorities and challenges
