Position at SBM Management

The Senior System Administrator will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and improving the corporate infrastructure to include Servers, Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Backups, SAN, VM's, Workstations, VOIP phones/PBX, and Mobile devices. The individual will assist and support the IT department with system configuration, setup, monitoring, account maintenance, and requested configuration changes. The administrator will should demonstrate a blend of advanced technical knowledge, hands-on support skills, teamwork, excellent communication abilities, positive can-do attitude, and strong Project Management skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Manage clustered Windows Hyper-V Environment
• Manage support of Linux based servers and applications
• Provide Cisco networking support - Routers, Switches, Call Manager, Unity, VLans
• Define and implement upgrades to the infrastructure and systems
• Test and evaluate network changes to eliminate problems and make improvements
• Assist in the management, development, and maintenance of VOIP systems
• Document the current and proposed configurations
• Create detailed technical procedures and plans
• Provide troubleshooting and customer support as needed to the Tier 1/Tier 2 helpdesk team
• Provide technical training and guidance to less experienced team members
• Create, maintain and update diagrams/documentation of evolving infrastructure and operational procedures
• Participate actively on project teams
• Monitor Alerts for problem areas
• Stay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommends taking advantage of new technology
• May require some travel

Qualifications:

Education and/ or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or a related field from a four-year college or university with 5-8 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMay be required to have a valid driver's license

Industry certifications a plus

Microsoft Windows/Exchange 2013/Active Directory/DHCP/DNS Microsoft Hyper-V Router/Switch deployment, MS Office Support, Linux, Cisco Networking

Compensation: $110,000 - $115,000 per year
