Sr Systems Engineer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr Systems Engineer in India.

This role is a senior technical position focused on designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud and infrastructure environments supporting critical healthcare applications. You will play a key part in ensuring high availability, performance, and security across Azure-based and hybrid systems used by large healthcare organizations. Acting as both a technical expert and team leader, you will guide engineers, support complex operational issues, and contribute to architectural decisions. The position involves working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve issues, improve service quality, and ensure SLA adherence. You will also drive automation initiatives and infrastructure modernization using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly supports mission-critical healthcare technology platforms used by thousands of providers globally.

• Provision, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure including IaaS and PaaS environments such as AKS, VNets, storage, and key security components.
• Support and maintain enterprise applications hosted on Windows Server, including SQL, IIS, and internal application stacks.
• Lead incident resolution, client issue management, and ensure timely closure aligned with SLA requirements.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring junior engineers and improving team capability and consistency.
• Collaborate with product and operations teams to enhance service quality and ensure alignment with customer needs.
• Maintain and optimize KPIs for hosted environments while ensuring compliance with internal and external SLAs.
• Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability.
• Develop and improve SOPs, operational processes, and infrastructure governance standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including cloud modernization and migration strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure support, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise in deploying and managing Azure resources such as VMs, Storage Accounts, VNets, NSGs/ASGs, and Key Vault.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Solid understanding of Azure security services, patch management, and monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking, backup, and disaster recovery concepts.
• Experience working in 24x7 production support or enterprise operations environments.
• Leadership experience, ideally with at least 2 years in a technical lead or similar role.
• Healthcare IT experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate in high-pressure environments.
• Willingness to participate in on-call support and occasional travel as required.
