Our team is seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager to help build the next generation of our emergency planning, and incident management Platform/Services, to provide emergency and crisis managers robust and flexible services that help them plan and handle fast-moving crisis to minimize the business impact and protect people.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Research and distill the worthwhile business problems from customers, and internal partners.
• Develop and drive the BlackBerry AtHoc product roadmap, driving critical capabilities from concept to customer.
• Translate product strategy into user stories, and prototypes.
• Simplify asks/requests to build focus on value.
• Work with all partners appropriate to our area to identify problems, desired outcomes, and craft a solution.
• Serve as a product owner on the scrum team(s) and work with engineers to deliver a quality product.
• Work with engineering and your team to ensure proper investment and execution in support of your strategy.
• Engage with customers and partners to deliver roadmap updates, get product feedback, and identify additional challenges and opportunities.
• Represent BlackBerry AtHoc as a domain and product authority at customer interactions.
• Measure key product metrics and iterate to improve the value delivery.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or related experience as a Software Engineer) and 5+ years product management experience in a technology company.
• Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
• An excellent teammate able to work with virtual and global cross functional teams; business-driven with a love of technology!
• An appetite for uncovering new revenue opportunities and developing strategies to increase the market presence of your products.
• Fast learner that can quickly synthesize ideas, information, and options into a strategy, plan, or response and optimally communicate it.
• MBA is plus, but not required.
