About the Job
Technical program managers drive the execution of product development concepts in the Technology industry. Their duties include contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with developers and engineers, and ensuring timely program delivery, ensuring metrics and measurements are in place for operational stability.Â
We are seeking an innovative senior technical program manager to contribute to the development of new technology products for our company. In this role, your duties will include driving strategic, cross-organizational efforts to promote collaboration and increase visibility. You may also be responsible for M&AÂ integration efforts.
To ensure success as a senior technical program manager, you should exhibit strong leadership skills (previous people leadership experience is a plus) and extensive experience in technical program management in a related industry. Top-notch technical program managers combine their business knowledge with technological expertise to promote product innovation.
What You’ll Be Doing: (Responsibilities)Â
- Drive cross-functional strategic coordination with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes.
- Work closely with software engineers, product managers and other engineering teams to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time).
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.Â
- Identify opportunities to improve execution activities, increasing productivity utilizing tools and process improvements.
- Develop internal processes and automation opportunities to support the team to execute efficiently.Â
- Mentor more junior team members and resources newer to scrum.
- Coach the organization to deliver agile, effectively and efficiently.
- Drive Release Plan and Roadmap for the Technology Organization.
- Lead/drive transformational programs.Â
- Present to executive leadership.
- Support strategic planning initiatives.
- Drive Cloud migration programs.Â
About You

The successful candidate will have: (Qualifications)Â
- Direct People Management experience (though this is not a people manager role at this time, we want the candidate to be open to this and exhibit skills required of people managers)
- At least 5 years of industry experience, working with technical and business teamsÂ
- Experience working within the Atlissian suite, specially JiraÂ
- Experience working cross functionally with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in product lifecycle.
- Experience project managing large scale and complex software initiatives.
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills.
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Desire for professional growth opportunities and to be in a dynamic learning environment
- Ability to efficiently multi-task and to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving and results

- Experience leading Information Security and Information Technology programsÂ
- Expert in JiraÂ
- Intimate understanding of SDLC

Compensation and Benefits
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate compensation range for this role in Boulder, Colorado is $118,000 to $140,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills and certifications.
