Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives
  • Maintain Scrum team work in project management software (i.e. JIRA) to support sprint plans and execution
  • Guide the team on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values for the benefit of our customers.
  • Work with a team of Scrum Masters to define and standardize Scrum best practices for the organization
  • Work with development teams to assess current maturity level and identify areas of improvement
  • Identify and create action plans for development teams to improve their way of working within the Scrum framework
  • Provide training to Scrum team members on the Scrum framework
  • Support the Product Owner, especially on refining and maintaining the product backlog.
  • Identify and resolve or escalate project issues, facilitate tradeoff decisions, and remove obstacles
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize efficiency of the development teams and ensure optimal quality is produced in the end product
  • Ensure the product development efforts adhere to the product development process and design control standards
  • Define and optimize Scrum and development processes, methodologies, and tools to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile software integration projects as a Scrum Master
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
  • 3+ years of experience working with Jira and Confluence
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Successful track record of bringing new software technology solutions /products to market
  • Interpersonal and facilitation skills- proven ability to effectively build relationships and achieve consensus across a wide range of functions and constituents
  • Communication- Must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Business Knowledge - Sound grasp of the key business drivers and considerations in the biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device, and /or life science and /or pharmaceutical industries
  • Self-starter with superior problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills and a track record for high performance and superior delivery
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative skills; detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture and to work effectively at both high and detailed levels
  • Experience with manufacturing and customer facing workflow enabling software (LIMS / MES) is preferred

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business, Information Technology Systems, Computer Applications, Project Management or any equivalent scientific field
  • PMP certification is preferred

The estimated base salary range for the Sr Technical Project Manager Scrum Master role based in the United States of America is: $103,500 - $155,300. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
