Recruiting Profile

Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Technical Project Managerto join our TEAM! As the Technical Project Manager, we need someone who is ready to provide assistance for all Dal-Tile Plants in troubleshooting, training, updating Sorting & Palletizing department.

Primary Objective

Assist all Dal-Tile Plants in troubleshooting, training, updating Sorting & Palletizing department.

Major Function and Scope

• Ensures Sorting and Palletizer equipment are working safely and efficiently
• Provide technical assistance for all Dal-Tile plants for Sorting and Palletizers
• Develops and implements training procedures and plans to train employees on new processes and equipment as well as improving skills
• Responsible to keep major parameters/program for each machine and for each format updated and look to improve them for better quality and productivity
• Maintain records of major equipment history and modifications to advance to other plants as needed
• Evaluate performance of different equipment in different plants and outline improvement plans
• Work with the engineering group and Project Engineer on the activities within the department
• Execute successful implementation of projects on machines as identified
• Performs other related duties as required

Experience and Knowledge Required

Bachelor's Degree that's relevant to role. Plus 8 yrs experience in listed knowledge requirements is preferred or 11+ yrs experience in listed knowledge requirements.

Knowledge and troubleshooting on Sima, NuovaFima, Systems sorting equipment for ceramic tile, Material handling systems (LGVs, Loader/ unloader). Ceramic technical knowledge required.

Knowledge of finished tile daimonions and flatness characteristics as well as finished boxes and pallet structures.

Competencies

Ceramic technical knowledge, Sorting and Palletizer knowledge, able to train.
