This role could be hybrid or remote based on proximity to an office location.

The Sr Technical Writer is responsible for working with the Lead Technical Writer and management to organize and write documentation for use in training programs and day-to-day job performance. The incumbent evaluates documentation effectiveness, identifies potential process gaps, and collaborates with the Lead Technical Writer in developing procedural documentation accordingly.

What you do

  • Translate complex subject matter into clear and effective procedural and job aid materials.
  • Analyzes documentation process gaps and recommends improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Partners with internal stakeholders, trainers, and other technical writers to gain deep understanding of the subject matter to build out subject matter content strategy.
  • Develops procedural material, job aides, and knowledge management strategies.
  • Monitors and utilizes existing and emerging technical writing technology and trends.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience required.
  • 1-3 years of related experience required.
  • Understanding of documentation lifecycle
  • Excellent communication, interviewing, and collaboration skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
