Sr. Technical Writer

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced technical communication professional to shape and deliver high-quality documentation for advanced mobile security products. You will work at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success, translating complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content. The position involves creating a wide range of documentation including release notes, API documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge resources. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment, ensuring documentation is aligned with rapid product releases and evolving security technologies. This is a highly impactful role where clarity, precision, and timing directly influence user experience and product adoption. It requires strong ownership, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, customer support, and sales teams to gather technical information and produce accurate release notes and documentation for product launches.
• Research, analyze, and test software features to create clear, structured, and user-focused documentation.
• Develop API documentation, user guides, and technical content that simplifies complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ensure all documentation meets high standards of clarity, accuracy, completeness, and usability across customer-facing and internal materials.
• Manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting strict release timelines in an agile development environment.
• Continuously improve documentation quality, structure, and accessibility through feedback and iterative enhancements.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to resolve documentation gaps and ensure timely delivery of content.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software technical writing with a strong portfolio of product documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience writing documentation in an agile software development environment.
• Strong expertise in API documentation and software product documentation.
• Ability to understand complex technical systems and translate them into simple, clear, and concise language.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with documentation formats and tools such as Markdown, Slate HTML, and Oxygen XML Editor is a plus.
• Experience with image capture tools and PowerPoint for technical illustration purposes.
• Exposure to IT security technologies and mobile platforms such as iOS and Android is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written communication, attention to detail, and a proactive “ownership” mindset.
