Sr Training Coordinator

If you have a keen eye for the big picture, enjoy working collaboratively, and have experience in US Military, US Department of Defense or Aerospace & Defense industries, we may have the perfect role for you! As a Sr Training Coordinator you will work closely with the L&D Manager, Instructional Designers, internal stakeholders, and HR Project Managers to coordinate training activities and prepare comprehensive action plans including LMS requirements for projects. You will partner with various cross-functional teams in HR and other departments to coordinate training to meet the needs of business leaders. This includes providing concise and accurate updates to leadership about training completion, communicating project statuses, coordinating training schedules, and acting as the point of contact for training participants. You may assist the Instructional Designers and internal stakeholders with creation of basic training content, as requested. You may train new team members on the LMS tasks performed by the L&D team.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional or Graphic Design, or related field of study and 10+ years of related work experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Relevant experience beyond 10+ years may be considered in lieu of required education
• Background in HR, training, communications, or other support function
• Strong communication and professional writing skills
• Extensive experience as an LMS learning administrator (Workday, Cornerstone, etc.)
• Basic experience with reporting
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Principles

Preferred:

• Experience with e-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Captivate)
• Experience with Workday HR Information Systems
• The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required Learn more about the background check process for Security Clearances

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:

• Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps
• Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity
• Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions:

• Rarely exposed to outdoor elements (high/low temperatures, sun, rain/snow, etc.)
• Rarely exposed to fumes or hazardous chemicals/materials
• Rarely exposed to loud noises

Estimated Starting Salary Range:
$32.25 - $48.38
