Job Title: Sr Treasury Operations Analyst (this position is Hybrid working 2 days a week in the Denton Texas Support Center)

Essential Function

This position is responsible for leading how our stores manage cash and checks, maintaining the external and cross functional relationships that support how our stores manage cash and check.This position will also support other treasury functions including international and domestic daily cash as well as take the lead in analyzing our global banking fees

Primary Duties

30% Support our more than 3500 stores across the US and Canada in how they handle and deposit cash and checks. Lead projects and initiatives to help improve the store manager deposit experience and lower overall banking charges working with store operations, loss prevention and accounting to communicate updates and changes

25% Maintains relationships with our more than 70 retail banking partners and ensures efficient operations including adjustments for the opening or closing of new stores, local bank branches, updating signature cards, and tracks bank policy changes

15% Analyze bank fees, interchange fees, and prepare various monthly Treasury reconciliations. Partner with Treasury leadership in negotiating bank and credit card processor fees and supporting initiatives to lower overall transaction costs.

15% Supports the daily cash procedures, including, but not limited to: projecting cash position, planning for borrowing and investment activities, initiating bank wires, ACH transactions, stop pays, etc. Compile necessary control and audit-trail documentation. All activities to be performed while ensuring policy compliance.

15% Provide support to other areas in the organization that require treasury expertise, troubleshoot issues that may arise with banking partners, and coordinate with other finance departments to create journal entries for cash activity and reconciliation of balances.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance in a large corporate environment and ideally at least 1 year of experience in Treasury.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with Weiland, Oracle, Hyperion, TMS and banking platforms is highly desired.

• The incumbent must have superb attention to detail, be a self-starter and a team player who knows how to work under little supervision
• Ability to prioritize and manage his/her time in a fast paced environment

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting rooms, training rooms, retail stores, residences, or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.

The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items such as papers, files, books, small parts; using a keyboard, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
