We are seeking highly skilled and experienced hands on Microsoft .NET Engineer who specializes in migrating .NET applications to .NET Core and driving the modernization of existing .NET applications. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for leading a team in the designing, planning, and implementing of architectural solutions for the migration and modernization of our .NET applications. Your expertise in .NET Core, along with your strong understanding of the .NET ecosystem, will be crucial in driving the successful transformation of our software systems. 

Responsibilities: 

• Lead the migration and modernization initiatives for our .NET applications, ensuring seamless transition to .NET Core and alignment with modern development practices. 
• Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and stakeholders to define migration strategies and establish timelines for successful execution. 
• Contribute to the development, testing, and deployment of high quality code. 
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices during the migration and modernization process. 
• Conduct thorough assessments of existing .NET applications to identify areas for improvement, scalability, and performance optimization. 
• Architect and design robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions using best practices and industry standards, while considering the unique needs of each application. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and select appropriate tools, frameworks, and technologies that align with the long-term vision of the application modernization roadmap. 
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to architectural guidelines. 
• Monitor and analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose and implement optimizations to enhance application performance and scalability. 

Tech Skills: 

1. Proven experience as a Microsoft .NET Architect, with a focus on migrating .NET applications to .NET Core and modernizing .NET systems. 
2. Strong hands on expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies, with a solid understanding of the .NET ecosystem. 
3. Extensive experience in designing and architecting scalable, distributed, and highly available .NET applications. 
4. Proficient in modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. 
5. Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS,GCP) and experience deploying .NET applications in a cloud environment. 

Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
