What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Sr. Account Coordinator who can do more for Mohawk Flooring North America brands by providing customer support, communication, and basic account maintenance for our residential, distributor and builder multifamily divisions.

Our Customer Experience team members are focused on building strong relationships and providing exceptional service that inspire customer loyalty and strengthen our position as the world's leading flooring manufacturer. What you'll do:

  • Serve as a subject matter resource for Customer Service Representatives and Account Coordinators. May serve as a back-up (short term duration) for a Lead in Customer Service, as business needs require.
  • Lead most complex customer inquiries and escalations related to department activities; requires considerable adaptation in response to the customer to achieve success.
  • Provide customer support and communication for customers, Marketing, Sales professional services, and Administration.
  • Interface with Credit department and other internal departments, to resolve account maintenance.
  • Work directly with Manufacturing and Production Planning regarding the status of back-orders and re-work.
  • Process customer inquiries pertaining to Purchase Order status, provide availability and in-depth information on products, and provide pricing on applicable accounts.
  • Compose and edit internal and external (including vendors) correspondence, including reports, presentations, and metrics. Examine records and ascertain relevance of billing correspondence, pricing on orders/commissions, group rebates, and related information.
  • Work with leadership to lead process improvement projects and other initiatives.

What you have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Minimum of 3 years customer service experience with 2 years of internal experience preferred.
  • MS Office applications and Email correspondence required. Internal systems including AS400, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Company brands and product information required to perform the essential functions of the job.

  • Ability to make recommendations and explain policies, guidelines, and processing standards.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; seeks assistance from others as needed.
