The Solutions and Growth team is charged with building lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients in the industries we serve. This team is responsible for finding new clients and supporting existing clients through engineered solutions. As part of this team, each member plays an out-sized role in the future of the business.
About the Role                       Â
As a Senior Account Executive (AE), you will be responsible for building and maintaining long-term relationships that result in new business for DCS. Your approach should be consultative and partner centric. You should have experience in the material handling industry and have a reputable record of finding, shepherding, and closing deals in our industry. You’ll provide critical business intelligence and guidance to the Sales and Pre-Contract team as you guide deals through our process.

- Meet or exceed financial targets by contributing to company profitability and growth.
- Create clear sales plans and circulate campaign strategy to leaders of the business.
- Identify and document account relationships and individuals.
- Maintain a healthy sales funnel.
- Maintain accurate CRM data.
- Work as a leader within the Sales and Pre-Contract team to guide the solution while advocating for the voice of the customer.

- Must have 10-15 years of experience in automation material handling, operations design consulting, and / or related integration systems sales
- Must have demonstrated and proven experience in selling and/or delivering large enterprise automation implementations for parcel carriers
- Know how to lead, drive, own, and conclude commercial roadmaps with major clients, such as MSA, LOI, SOW, and Support Agreements.
- Develop and plan a pipeline capable of booking and recognizing $25M-$50M+ on an annual recurring basis.
- Expand DCS brand through personal network, professional memberships, past clients, and current targets.
- Closely work with Solutions and Operations leadership at DCS to align sales and demand resource balancing and needs to ensure quality work.
- Ensure accurate quarterly financial forecasting for large opportunities and engage senior leadership (LT) to help with relationship on deals.
- Excellent communications with internal stakeholders and external client executive relationships, steering committee participation.
- Demonstrate ability to be in social media effectiveness with subject matter content for blogs, posts, whitepapers, speaking opportunities.
