Fluidra’s looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team!
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
As a Senior Accountant, you will be primarily responsible for month end close process preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, preparing audit schedules, reporting duties, and adhoc projects. This role focuses on the GL activities related to intercompany (Including invoicing), various manual accruals, and debt. You will also play a major role in supplier set-up process.
As a Senior Accountant on the team, you will:
- Play an active role in month-end close process by preparing various journal entries and performing account reconciliations for accounting areas assigned.
- Perform supplier set-ups.
- Maintain overall accuracy and integrity of the general ledger and ensure that financial statements are IFRS compliant.
- Reconcile GL accounts especially for intercompany activity and resolve variances.
- Complete the monthly trial balance consolidation uploads and financial schedules that capture the changes in balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.
- Identify and initiate process improvements to enhance productivity and accuracy.
- Interface with other departments and business units to obtain information required for accounting analysis.
- Prepare deliverables to support the preparation of the financial statements, and/or requests for information from all business functions.
- Coordinate requests between external/internal audit teams and related business units for successful completion of multiple annual audits.
- Must have the ability to think and work independently.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE SEEK
- 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
- CPA strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of US GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools and techniques. IFRS understanding a plus.
- Strong proficiency working with large data sets and utilization of Excel formulas (e.g. pivot tables).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Must have the ability to think and work independently and possess excellent time management skills in order to meet goals and deadlines.
- Ability to effectively to respond to and interact with multiple levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential.
- Working knowledge of Oracle ERP/Hyperion/HFM applications is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced, dynamic, team-oriented environment.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree (accounting, business, or finance major preferred)

Expected salary range is $85,000 - $102,000. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
