Sr. Accountant

Summary

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization.? Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

• Responsible for daily review of bank reconciliation
• Review ledgers for accounts receivable entries
• Perform data audits to ensure accurate billing
• Manage fixed asset schedules and depreciation
• Develop and manage policies for sales and local tax
• Initiate automation in the month end close process
• Assist in the development and management of an automated inventory system
• Responsible for month end processes including reconciliations and financial reporting
• Responsible for income tax payment and reporting

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop accounting and reporting for a group of small LLC's
• Assist in converting financial reports into BI
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Power BI experience Preferred
• 3+ years experience in an accounting role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and some experience in CRM program
