Group/Division

KLA is well known for its high-performing business model which routinely produces significant profit margins and revenue. Key to supporting KLA business is the finance team that partners with corporate and global business organizations to provide expertise and guidance for developing and executing sound business models and practices. The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for intercompany transactions and perform reconciliations of intercompany balances
  • Managed intercompany settlement and wire transfers
  • Perform GL monthly/quarterly close duties, including but not limited to, recording standard/accrual journal entries/transfer pricing entries, account reconciliations, run revaluations, and perform allocations
  • Perform key SOX controls related to GL and consolidations
  • Work closely with project implementation team to perform testing, training, and documentation of processes
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and develop solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Prepare business functional specification for new SAP reports, including performing testing and validation of the report prior to moving to production
  • Prepare and maintain proper documentation and records of accounting / financial reporting process

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in GL/consolidation or equivalent
  • SAP/Oracle experience in General Ledger and consolidations
  • This position requires both accounting and technical knowledge
  • Advanced analytical and critical skills to troubleshoot and identify potential gaps in new or current processes
  • Communication skills and ability to translate end-user needs into IT solutions
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets is required
  • Flexibility in fulfilling ad hoc analytical requests in global corporate environment
  • Experience in multi-national organization a plus

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years
