Sr. Accountant (Loan Accounting)

We are seeking a Sr. Accountant to oversee associated transactions with Loan Activity, Debt, Securitization and Cash Reconciliation.

Responsibilities:

• Record monthly debt, securitization, and loan entries.
• Assist Loan Accounting Manager with monthly Cash Reconciliations.
• Assist with the implementation of the Cash Reconciliation platform.
• Participates in collaborations with Finance Operation team to facilitate completion of assigned projects and/or process improvements.
• Assist with Fair Value requirements for Loans and assets recognized through Residual Sales.
• Oversee the preparation and completion of assigned balance sheet entity account reconciliations, validating that reconciliations comply with Accounting Policy, documenting controls, and maintaining ownership of resolving reconciling items.
• Provides support to accounting team during annual and interim audits, researching and providing support for audit requests as assigned.
• Timely completion of the month-end close to meet Company and Department goals. Review financials, address and correct issues identified.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration – Accounting or Finance
• 3+ plus years of overall general accounting experience.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Understanding of NetSuite and FloQast a plus.
• CPA, CPA-candidate a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills
• Must work with attention to detail.

Compensation: The role described above offers a base salary of $70,000 to $100,000.  Your offer will be based on the alignment of your qualifications with the requirements of the job and internal equity.  In addition to the above-mentioned salary, Total Rewards include a stock option package, and benefits as outlined below.
