Job Description
Sr. Advisors for Chicago, IL location. Coordinate between application development and operational functions, embracing open-source practices. Design, implement, deploy, and maintain systems for building, deploying, and operating customer-facing applications. Implement infrastructure and research and deploy best software and hardware. Support and improve foundational technologies and abstractions (including databases, load balancers, monitoring, and reporting). Recommend and implement new security technologies and policies. Technical environment: AWS using VPC, Internet Gateway, IAM, EC2, Autoscaling, load balancer, S3, SQS, Cloud Watch, Oracle, Mongo DB, Bash Scripting, YAML, JSON, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Git/GitHub, ELK stack, Elasticsearch, Linux, UNIX, TCP/IP, CIDR, Subnets, Routing Tables, Apache, Dynatrace, Kibana, Zabbix, Graphite.
Job Requirements
*Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or in Software Development or as a Software Developer required. Required Skills: AWS, VPC, Oracle, Mongo DB, Bash Scripting, YAML, JSON, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, Git/GitHub, ELK stack, Elasticsearch, Linux, UNIX, TCP/IP, CIDR, Subnets, Routing Tables, Apache, Dynatrace, Kibana, Zabbix, Graphite. 60% telecommuting permitted.
