Sr. Analyst, Business Operations & Strategy

Reporting to the M&A Integrations & Special Projects Manager, the Senior Analyst, Business Operations & Strategy will play a critical role accelerating organizational decision making and implementing high-priority business initiatives. This individual will collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify strategic and operational challenges, take an analytical approach to identify actionable solutions, and drive implementation in a fast-paced environment. They will also be responsible for developing high-impact materials to facilitate decision making for key stakeholders across the organization.

• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve business performance in partnership with the Special Projects Manager

• Develop data-driven recommendations for key strategic decisions

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to redesign critical business processes and ensure successful rollout

• Support day-to-day operations of the business (e.g., goal setting and tracking)

• Develop high-impact materials to facilitate senior leadership decision-making (e.g., executive offsites, quarterly Board meetings)
• Work on a variety of key initiatives on an ad hoc basis

• 3+ years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or another analytical role in the life sciences, genomics, or pharmaceutical industries
• Demonstrated success building relationships with and leading cross-functional stakeholders to drive business outcomes
• Strong business judgment and excellent analytical and problem solving skills, including experience working in Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to prepare executive-ready presentations in PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills
• Solutions-oriented self-starter excited to tackle ambiguous problems in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Team player with a great work ethic and willingness to roll up their sleeves to get the job done
• Interest in the life sciences space

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Biology, Genomics, or a related field, or prior work experience in the Life Sciences field
