Sr. Analyst - Clinical Insights

What You’ll Do:

As part of our Clinical Insights team, the Sr. Analyst will support internal and external stakeholders in generating analyses and insights utilizing longitudinal healthcare (claims, labs, pharma) and consumer digital data. 

• Define and quantify patient diagnostic and HCP segments, and sizing drug volumes
• Analyze large volume detailed claims data to derive relevant insights and reports, and validate the results 
• Partner with the Data Science team on healthcare model development and claims data research
• Develop claims data POCs (proof of concepts) 
• Provide healthcare subject matter expertise support to The Company
• Develop and publish standards for definitions of health conditions and medications
• Interact with health data vendors to determine the best data treatment approach 

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field, such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Biostatistics, Econometrics, Economics, Finance, Data Science, Epidemiology, Population Health, Public Health
• 3+ years advanced analytics and data experience in pharmaceutical industry, health systems, health-tech or digital health, combined with background or interest in digital marketing, consumer behavior or ad-tech 
• Currently utilizing advanced SQL skills, as well as R or Python libraries to conduct exploratory and statistical analysis, and wrangle health claims data
• Hands-on experience in applying statistical concepts and tools such as test-control, sample sizing, segmentations/clustering, decision trees and predictive modeling
• Ability to communicate cross disciplinary and desire to work in a rapidly scaling startup, with a strong culture of fast-paced cross functional collaboration
• Experience with working in cloud based AWS or similar environment
• “Can do” attitude, outstanding technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, aptitude to rapidly develop working knowledge of new tools and data sources
• Ability to meet deadlines and flexibility to work constructively with shifting priorities

Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000

While the role is based in NYC, we are open to candidates who are remote and willing to work in EST and travel to NYC for periodic business meetings.
