Job Description
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
The Senior Analyst, Competitive Intelligence will be responsible for leading and coordinating competitive intelligence efforts across FirstKey Homes. The Senior Analyst will develop a strong understanding of FirstKey Homes business and competitive landscape. They will deliver insights and analyses related to FirstKey Homes business, competitors, prevailing demand & supply trends, and closely track developments in the overall US rental market.Â
The role will work across organizational leadership and will be a critical member of the Business Insights and Analytics team, actively informing FirstKey Homes competitive positioning and long-term strategic direction.Â
 ESSENTIAL DUTIESÂ
- Provide comprehensive, timely and actionable insights & analysis of competitive dynamics, emerging trends and developments in the US rental market, across the single-family rental and multi-family rental segments.
- Lead competitive benchmarking of FirstKey Homes financial performance and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and serve as subject matter expert.
- Deliver actionable and timely competitor and industry news, insights, analysis and reporting to FirstKey Homes senior leadership and functions.
- Closely support FirstKey Homes functions to formulate competitive strategies and execution to accelerate long-term growth and enhance competitive positioning.
- Develop a strong reporting & analysis framework to drive competitive intelligence deliverables.
- Lead and support special projects, ad-hoc analysis and recommendations to advance FirstKey Homes strategic growth agenda, decision making and performance delivery.
- Participate in presenting models and analysis to various levels of management, including operating managers, executives, board members and Cerberus team members.Â

 REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Â
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, strategy data Analytics, or equivalent level of education.Â
- 4 - 6 years’ experience in an analyst or similar role with proven success in delivering robust business analysis, insights and process improvement. Highly strategic and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; understanding and experience working with data analytics software products, large dataset management and visualization technology tools.
- Strong communication skills with ability to message and influence effectively across all levels of the organization.
 PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Â
- Experience working in one of the following areas: competitive intelligence; corporate strategy; finance; market research; investment banking; investment management.
- Experience sourcing and interpreting data and delivering analysis to drive competitive or market positioning and/or driving strategic decision making.Â
- Experience working with large data sets, information and technology systems.
