This remote role is not tightly linked to a physical location and provides flexibility in where, when and how you accomplish your work. Job Summary
The Consumer Segment teams are part of the Consumer Portfolio Management (CPM) organization, which encompasses Consumer Insight, Consumer Research and Analytics, Product Management and Go-To-Market strategy. The broader CPM organization are experts and advocates for consumers driving inspired product / service solutions that shape H-D's future. The CPM organization plans, brings to market, and manages our portfolio of products and services for Motorcycles, and Parts & Accessories.
The Consumer Segment teams are responsible for effectively identifying market segments and target consumers through superior, consumer-led, data-driven insights to drive and support our portfolio plans.
Job Responsibilities
Under direct supervision of the Consumer Segment Director, provides analytical assistance for all category sales and market information generating insights to drive the business.
- Ability to analyze and interpret consumer, industry and sales data into actionable insights
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert for one segment and one sales market
- Accurately maintain information for key /non-key competitors
- Create and/or maintain standard operating procedures for all tasks and projects
- Utilize sales, industry and market research data to maintain and identify business trends
- Provide support to consumer segments team in discovery process and presentations
- Tie information from multiple data sources to form new insights, thinking above and beyond the "ask"
- Collect information for monthly consumer & competitive reporting
- Perform need based projects/analysis as needed
- Ad hoc reporting/analysis as needed
- Mulit-task between projects and reporting/analytics with ability to adjust priorities based on opportunities/needs
- Support internal teams with unbiased recommendations based on knowledge of market, industry, consumers and customers
Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience Requirements
Required:
- 3-5 years analytical experience
- Extremely detail oriented
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven ability to work with data from multiple sources, interpret data and turn into actionable insight
- Able to work independently
- Strong problem solving and presentation skills
- Effective time management
- Strong prioritization and follow through
- Ability to think outside the box
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- 10-25% travel
- Experience as a motorcyclist or work experience in a motorcycle related products environment is preferred
The pay range shown represents the national average pay range for this role. Your pay may be more or less than the stated range and is dependent on your geographic location and level of experience.
