Job Description Summary
The BD Finance Operations and Systems group provides strategic, cross-functional alignment and execution of business operations, projects and information management. The group is responsible for project support, process improvement, SAP application support/development and Business Intelligence functions within the Becton Dickinson Finance Organization.
The analyst will provide support for global Finance in the following five key areas: 1. Master Data Management, 2. System and user support in various reporting systems, 3. System and user support in various ERP environments, 4. Projects and Continuous Improvements 5. Other duties/support as required.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities in this Role:

Master Data Management:

• Finance Master Data SME in the areas of creation and maintenance of: Company code, Profit Centers, Group GL accounts, Operating GL accounts, Cost Elements, Cost Centers, Functional Areas, Trading Partners, Product Hierarchy, etc.
• Key contributor in upholding the established master data governance process and provides guidance and recommendations on Master Data proposals to end users
• Support audits involving the master data governance processes
• Assist integration projects in defining, implementing and governing use of master data in new applications and tools
• Understand Financial Master Data and transactional flow of multiple source systems to consolidation and reporting systems

ERP, Reporting System and User Support:

• Liaise with IT and end users to resolve issues, maintain systems and applications and implement break fixes
• Facilitate month-end close: End user support and solve issues in ERP environments and reporting environments
• Monitor and manage key data flow activities and ensuring consistency of master data across systems.

Projects and Continuous Improvements:

• Collaborate closely between IT and Business by developing detailed business user requirements, system documentation, training and workflow procedures for projects and Continuous Improvement efforts
• Develop training and other processes to support and develop Finance end users
• Assist integration and M&A projects in defining, implementing and governing use of master data in new applications and tools

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Finance/Accounting
• Experience working in SAP FI/CO
• Experience working in SAP BW/B
• Proficiency using Excel and the Microsoft Office suite of products
• Demonstrated proficiency towards use of systems and applications
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work well cross-functionally

Preferred Experience:

• Experience using PowerBI
• Experience using SAP BPC
• Experience using Reltio Master Data Application
• Experience using Qlik applications
