About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to act as a partner for the Business leadership to optimize inventory management and avoid cost. The role will own the execution of the globally deployed Reporting & Analytics and standard processes and will have day to day interactions with the main stakeholders as well as business leaders

About the Team/Department

The role will be part of the Europe Global Supply Chain hub, based in Arese, Italy.

Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

• Managing and improving Inventory reporting (Actuals including comments and projection in partnership with Planning team)
• Business partner the Planning and business on all inventory related initiatives
• Prepare EMEA Inventory & Working Capital review
• Ensure Compliance for all Inventory management activities (internal controls, SOAR, Balance Sheet reconciliation, stock counts)

Obsolescence Management

• Enhance tracking of write-offs with root cause and data based analysis
• Supporting End of Life management in Europe and drive obsolescence depletion (together with BIMs / Supply Planning / Business)
• Drive Process improvements on planning and production for write-offs avoidance
• Harmonizing and standardizing Inventory reserve updates across EMEA
• Ensuring adherence to Global Inventory Management Policy
• Lead reviews with key stakeholders and presenting to management
• Lead month-end closing for Sub-Saharan entities ensuring all costs are appropriately recorded, book provisions and create account reconciliations.

Experience you’ll bring:

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• 2 to 4 years finance experience in FP&A role or cost accounting roles preferably with international exposure
• Strong Computer skills, Microsoft Office, SAP, BPC
• Mobility is a plus
• Fluent in English
