The US Consumer & Global Premium Services (USC & GPS) organization is part of the Global Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing through the sourcing and delivery of relevant, differentiated products & benefits that drive demand and inspire engaged card members to deepen loyalty.

In this role as Sr. Analyst, Membership Commerce & Innovation you will be focused on a broad range of strategic opportunity areas including emerging payments, the future of membership and customer insights & trends. This team is fast paced and evolving rapidly to meet the ever-changing payment needs of our customers with product solutions and experiences that can make a meaningful difference in our customers' lives and help set us apart in the industry.

We have an opportunity to deepen our focus and leverage external partnerships to engage prospects and existing Card Members through a cohesive product and marketing roadmap. This role is critical to defining and executing this roadmap to achieve growth across new payment vehicles, pilots and test and learn.

This is a great role for a strategic digital marketer who is looking to showcase thought leadership, drive innovative marketing and lead execution across marketing channels (email, web, app, social, servicing etc.) to grow product awareness, activation, usage, and 'sticky' spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead data analyst across full campaign suite, creating and managing a "state of the product" reporting and bespoke analytics to support wallets and account connect marketing optimization (Funnel reporting and marketing attribution)
  • Own and lead full team marketing work plan tracking, campaign flighting and prioritization against business priorities and resources. (PMO)
  • Assess new opportunities to develop joint goals and marketing in owned and partner channels in support of Digital Pays partners (current and/or new)
  • Manage the creative development and approval process across marketing campaigns, liaising with legal, Compliance, Brand, and external agencies
  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including targeting, segmentation, campaign set-up, deployment, and post campaign performance & coupled with go forward plans
  • Partner with internal product and business development partners to understand partner needs, develop marketing plans in conjunction with Sr. Manager to drive Card Member engagement.
  • Reports to the Sr. Manager, Foundational Pays Marketing

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of digital marketing and/or product experience in digital channels (partner and/or Amex owned)
  • Experience with end-to-end channel execution (campaign set-up, DART, Meridian, GCO / LOBCO) and ability to independently move timelines forward
  • Highly analytical, proven ability to synthesize complex topics and use funnel performance data to make business recommendations across channels (heavy excel experience a must, experience with Adobe, Omniture and nVision reports required)
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication and ability to lead large groups of matrixed partners across Enterprise including marketing, ops, product, analytics and finance as lead PMO for team to manage and prioritize work and back logs across complete Snr Manager team remit
  • Ability to support strategy needs for new partner opportunities & evaluation (customer need, value prop, business case for support) with Sr. Manager on team and biz dev teams (i.e ability to create sell in decks to partners on offers and marketing tactics for alignment)
  • Positive, self-starter with a thirst to move quickly and challenge what's been done
  • Highly organized and comfortable delivering results across multiple work streams simultaneously; attention-to-detail is critical
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for understanding what drives customer behavior and how evolving technologies can enhance our Card Member experience
  • You are a strong storyteller and thoughtful about how to flex your style based on your audience
  • Great sense of humor and energy for collaboration a plus

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
