Position Summary

This position will be responsible for understanding our internal and external clients' needs from a population health management (PHM) perspective and develop reporting and analytics to meet those needs. This position requires advanced technical abilities in order to mine data from multiple disparate sources and transform that data into meaningful reports using Tableau, Excel, and other business information tools. This individual will also work with the automation team to build processes, standards, and perform quality assurance. In addition, they should be adept at communication and expressing ideas orally and in writing, including formal presentations to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Transform raw data, using SQL and other querying languages, into automated reporting that is intuitive and can be understood by individuals with varying backgrounds
  • Develop innovative reporting and analytics by understanding the underlying factors driving key business decisions
  • Collaborate with business partners to ensure that content and functionality meets their expectations
  • Successfully complete project deliverables associated with all aspects of life cycle methodology including design, build, test, train and implementation
  • Proactively monitor, identify, and help with DQA and resolve system production issues
  • Maintain and improve upon existing reporting by implementing automated solutions
  • Provide status reports, verbal and written
  • Support teammates with ad hoc requests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in healthcare informatics preferred
  • 3 years of experience with creating and managing data-driven reports and/or dashboards and delivering basic statistical analysis
  • Knowledge in Data Quality Assurance (DQA) various techniques to spot discrepancies in production reports
  • Advanced Tableau, SQL and Excel skills (pivots, tables and functions - lookups, arrays, etc.), knowledge of Python for data analysis is highly preferred
  • Working experience with reporting automation tools, such as VBA, Python, Airflow, and SSRS is desirable
  • A high level of skill with data extraction, manipulation and warehousing tools
  • The ability to learn and adapt to new data and analytic tools/systems
  • Experience interpreting and defining business requirements for complex business problems
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and take initiative with limited direction
  • Strong quantitative analytical, and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational and task management skills
  • Artistic eye for design
  • Natural curiosity for continuously improving, learning new visual techniques, or solving complex problems/puzzles

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 59,300 - 98,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
