Job Purpose:

The Toro Company is looking for a Strategy & Business Operations Analyst to drive critical workstreams on the highest priority, highest complexity, and highest visibility initiatives on the enterprise's strategic roadmap.

The Toro Company extended its track record of profitable growth in 2022 and achieved record financial results, while navigating a dynamic and challenging business environment.

As the enterprise and its opportunities grow in scale and complexity, the Strategy & Business Operations team ensures focus on and execution of the most important initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses world-class strategic & analytical skills, a propensity for solving complex problems, and a clear team-first mindset.

Job Duties & Responsibilities*:

  • Partner with strategy department leadership to prioritize strategic opportunities facing the business
  • Execute complex analyses that directly lead to comprehensive, measurable, data-driven insights in order to evaluate and quantify strategic opportunities
  • Own complex, multi-disciplinary workstreams, that contribute to the design of actionable strategic initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to deploy and execute strategic initiatives and ultimately capture trackable and measurable value to The Toro Company's bottom line
  • Develop self, coach peers, and build TTC strategy toolkit across key skillsets including hypothesis development, structured analysis, project/workstream design, and project execution
  • Stay current with market trends, competitive strategies, emerging technologies, and best demonstrated management and strategy deployment practices

Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical skills with the demonstrated ability to analyze complex business situations, problems, and concepts.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence, and motivate individuals without direct authority
  • Ability to maintain composure and demonstrate resilience during high-stress situations and maintain focus on ultimate objectives
  • Experience with data modelling and strong financial acumen
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree (BA, BS)
  • Previous Management Consulting, Strategy & Business Operations, or Finance / Accounting experience preferred

  • Authorized to work in the US and Mexico
  • Able to travel extensively (approximately 10%) both domestically and internationally.

Competitive Salary - The pay range takes into account skills, experience, education, and location. It is not common to be hired at or near the top of the range; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
