Sr. Analyst, Supply Planning - NPD
Job Description
Summary:
NPD planner governs overall planning activities of new products, transition and special packs. They ensure that key planning milestones are met. The NPD team supports the cluster priorities and strategies related to new product launches in line with the company’s goal in driving competitive advantage and business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Represents supply planning in Project Meetings; from kick off to project launch.

Regularly reviews inventory run down of transitioning codes & propose best case scenario to minimize write off cost.

Ensure forecast is flowing in Supply Planning book and is aligned with launch timings and project volumes.

Govern the handover of the NPD & transition codes to the Supply Planners.

Works closely with Supply Planners in placing orders based on agreed lead time and volume parameters.

Monitor succeeding steps after PO issuance and ensure First Arrival Date (FAD) is met.

Review the Project Timelines and recommend changes in any variable subdue.

Identify supply risks, escalate onto stakeholders, to develop mitigation plans and achieve project objectives.

Collaborate with cross functional team (Demand & Supply Planning, Procurement, Costing, Production, Marketing, Logistics, Customer Fulfillment).

Touch based with Supply Planning Managers.

Maintain and ensure the correct Master data in SAP (ECC & APO) until codes are active (ZA).

Provide input to Supply Planners for Control tower and Step 3 meetings.
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
-
Graduate of Engineering or business-related course.
-
2 years of experience working in a supply or similar function, preferably in a multinational or multicultural environment.

Person with the total network view in his/her region (plants and DCs; cross country if needed)

Full understanding of total chain of planning processes.

System Knowledge SAP (ECC & APO-master data) is a must.

Knowledge in the process of New Product Development (NPD) is a plus.
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Good knowledge of inventory policies and methodologies.

Pro-active & collaborative team worker.

Analytical Problem Solving.

Strong Communication Skills.
Job Requirements:

Full Time, typical work hours & shifts, days of week, whether overtime is expected, etc.

Percentage of travel time expected, where the travel occurs, whether the travel is overnight

Work environment, physical demands (if applicable)

Full-time employment

Work Hours: 8:00AM or 9:00AM to 5:00PM or 6:00PM (Mondays to Fridays)

Overtime might be required depending on the critical deliverables
