Sr. Android Framework Software Engineer

Your Role:

As the Sr. Android framework Software Engineer, not an application developer, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to bring up and build a completely new generation in-vehicle infotainment system with adhesive user experience. In this position, you should work with the Kernel, App, Product team, and external vendors to develop a state-of-the-art Vehicle in-cabin system. Basically, you’ll focus on the middle layer framework system software development and integration, develop core services and applications, including but not limited to Vehicle control services, Vehicle diagnostic service, and multimedia features, especial on the Audio system to provide extreme in-vehicle listening/speaking experience. And you should have good skill on the C++/Java programming.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field, and/or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in Android framework and application development.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Android platform, SDK, and emulator.
• Good practice on both the C/C++ and Java on the Android platform.
• Great team player, dedicated to the company, willing to take on challenging tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS degree in Computer Science with 3+ years of work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Android Audio framework and Audio HAL development.
• Professional experience with Android UI/Framework/Services development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Java.
• A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal vision.
• Excellent communication skills and team-working tendencies.
• A penchant for multi-tasking and self-starting.

Annual Salary Range:

($130K - $165K DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans.
