Job Summary:

Supermicro is looking for experienced Senior Application Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in computer/server architecture. You will be responsible in providing technical supports to our enterprise customers, promote internal networking products to provide optimize customer's networking solution. The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in networking server product as well as exceptional communication skill -- ability to interface with all level of management staffs in professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):• Work on AI/GPU related server product lines• Work directly with customers to resolve technical issues including motherboard, server systems, PC systems and computer peripherals on the phone, by E-mails, or go on-site• Work with various internal teams, R&D HW, SW, production to resolve technical issues• Identify technical issues and resolve computer hardware and software problems• Provide service to effectively resolve customer concerns and issues• Continually develop knowledge base of current and new products

*Acts as the product expert, with deep technical understanding, engaging with both the product support team and development team to provide correct product solutions to customers.

Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience in computer systems and/or servers• Technical support in PC/Server industry is a plus• Strong organizational and well-developed social skills• Excellent telephone etiquette skills and onsite support skills• Strong communication skill in both verbal and written• Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player• Excellent knowledge of Server/Workstation GPU products

generative AI and inferencing product solution knowledge is a plus

Salary Range

$128,008 - $142,451

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
