POSITION SUMMARY:

You will be primarily responsible for designing and delivering curriculum that ensures Rockwell Automation Field Service Engineers, Remote Support Service Engineers, System Integration Engineers, and Partner Engineers can position, deliver, and support projects that enable site level information gathering, analytics, visualization, and decision making. The primary focus will be on technologies in the FactoryTalk Analytics software portfolio and other underlying technologies such as the InnovationSuite products which span deployment from the edge to enterprise levels and drive IT/OT convergence. The individual should have a passion for training and demonstrate the ability to work cross-culturally in diverse and changing environments.

  • You will work with RAU Delivery Leaders, Development Leaders, Program Managers and Project Managers to understand training needs of the stakeholders
  • Develop training materials for eLearning, remote instructor lead, or in classroom formats to suit the needs of technical staff through technical writing, interactive presentations, and other learning practices
  • Deliver training in a classroom or virtual classroom to achieve learning objectives
  • Interact with product businesses, stakeholder businesses, and partners to develop and deploy world class training to RA employees, partners, and customers

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required for this position
  • Legal authorization to work within the region where you are hired - we will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening
  • This position will require travel up to 20% of time, domestic or international


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related is preferred
  • This position typically requires a minimum 3+ years' experience in FactoryTalk software application configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Strong technical experience with manufacturing information software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • PTC / IIOT: knowledge of PTC Vuforia, PTC ThingWorx, FactoryTalk Analytics, and basic information modeling
  • Strong understanding of Information Software Applications including FactoryTalk Analytics DataView, FactoryTalk Edge Gateway, and legacy FactoryTalk software products.
  • Subject Matter Expert in the development and deployment of distributed FactoryTalk software applications; this includes basic application design and troubleshooting level knowledge aligned to customer outcomes
  • Ability to define concise learning objectives
  • Ability to develop and deliver technical training to achieve specified learning objectives
  • Ability to train and mentor others through content creation and personal interaction
  • Demonstrated ability to balance competing requirements and interests, with focus on top priorities, finding opportunities to achieve win-win or obtain acceptance/consensus to compromise
  • Ability to successfully work across organizational boundaries, including strong relationship management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including speaking in front of small and large groups and ability to write & maintain technical documentation
  • Ability to participate in customer-facing engagements as required to develop expertise in customer requirements of products, technologies, and solutions
  • Conducts technical training for internal employees and partners in the use of company products, applications, solutions, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to serve as a technical mentor, adviser, etc. for students, RAU, and shared labor resources
  • This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.
  • The base salary compensation range for this role in Colorado is $79,360.00 - 99,200.00 with an annual target bonus of 5% of base salary
