Sr. Area Manager, Western Region

Your Role:Â Â
As the Sr. Area Manager, Western Region, you’ll be working with some of the industry’s brightest minds to develop, grow, and execute FF’s Direct Sales Model in its key launch markets. You will manage, plan, organize, direct, control and prioritize the activities of FF’s western region team (sales, distribution, marketing, FF Partner network development, business management, training, and sales-related customer satisfaction) in accordance with corporate and regional objectives. You will work cross-functionally with internal and external partners to advocate for and ensure a seamless and premium Online-to-offline retail experience, leveraging and integrating digital technologies and systems.Â
Basic Qualifications:Â
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceÂ
- 10+ years of experience in automotive OEM sales teams, regional area sales and operations, automotive dealership group, or national sales company Â
- Proven knowledge + expertise, and passion for automotive sales, marketing, CRM, distribution, network development, and customer journey optimizationÂ
- Proven track record of working successfully with external business partnersÂ
- Top-notch negotiation and partner/vendor management skillsÂ
- Project management – ability to manage teams to achieve organizational objectivesÂ
- Track record of cross-functional collaboration with internal departments, strategic partners/vendors and field teams to ensure successful go-to-market introductionsÂ
- Strong familiarity with US auto dealership franchise and knowledge of direct sales operationsÂ
Preferred Qualifications:Â
- Master’s degreeÂ
- Able to develop and track KPI’s for sales, customer satisfaction, and showroom efficiency and create action plans to achieve desired targetsÂ
- Partner relations/management – foster positive relations, negotiate, and hold partners accountable to key metrics, collaborate to improve customer experienceÂ
- Working experience in customer facing retail operations with previous experience in EV operations/marketing within a vehicle manufacturerÂ
- Comprehensive understanding of retail processes, customer journeys, and CRM conceptsÂ
- Experience working with vendors, contractors, and other third-party stakeholders on executing programs to support the consumer journey in alignment with FF’s direct sales model.Â
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills (statistical, mathematical, data)Â Â
- Customer orientation – experience with retail sales environments providing premium customer experience, consistent with brand imageÂ
- Ability to define, implement and drive workflows and plans while managing timelines, communications, risks, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, and any other issues that arise for retail project launches Â
- Proven track record of executing multiple complex projects simultaneously from start to finishÂ
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art AR & VR technologies used in retail applicationsÂ
- A creative curiosity, collaborative ethic, hardworking enthusiasm, and driving personal visionÂ
- Excellent communication skills and team-working tendenciesÂ
- A penchant for multi-tasking and self-startingÂ
- A genuine fascination for the EV and technology fields and a commitment to global changeÂ

Annual Salary Range:
($141,000 to $184,500 DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
