Role:

Within the Operations & Analytics (“O&A”) department, the Client Advisor Services team is responsible
for many of the integral operating functions that directly impact clients. As a member of this group, the
Senior Associate will participate in the support of client relationships, organization and maintenance of
client information, and facilitation of various firmwide support functions. This role will partner cross functionally
across O&A and our Private Client Group teams to improve our internal processes aimed to
enhance the client experience. The role spans a variety of functions necessary to support the business,
including client money movements, alternative investment processing and new client onboarding.
Strong candidates will be comfortable dynamically shifting their efforts across these functional areas
with an enthusiastic spirit towards doing what is needed to help the business grow and evolve. We are
seeking candidates who are well organized, detail-focused, energetic, and team-oriented. The right
candidate is a self-starter with a strong work ethic who has excellent communication skills and the
ability to think critically.


Responsibilities:

  • Interface and collaborate effectively with various third parties including but not limited to:
    custodian banks, software vendors, external managers, administrators, etc.
  • Facilitate client directed money movement with custodian banks. Maintain internal records
    supporting all money movement activity in client accounts
  • Maintain existing client information; ensure all necessary data and documentation is accurately
    captured and preserved in the Firm’s database
  • Support investment processing procedures
  • Provide senior level review and approval within the team on day-to-day activities including but
    not limited to administering clients investment portfolios, account openings & maintenance, cash
    flows, asset transfers & securities gifting, client data and document management. Responsible for
    training new team members.
  • Serve as SME supporting more complex workflows within the team (e.g., client onboarding,
    alternatives investing, client cash flows, etc) and cross functionally to ensure optimal support of
    our advisors and clients
  • Participate as a SME in firmwide projects designed to improve the overall client experience,
    internal workflows and/or data management around the Firm
  • Ensure processes & procedures effectively mitigate business risk and create operational scale for
    the firm
  • Assist in all ad hoc information or report requests from advisors

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience within the financial services industry; Prior experience in wealth
    management, RIA, or family office support functions is preferred
  • Client service focus approach to daily responsibilities (proactive, solutions orientated, “can-do”
    mentality)
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, high integrity, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Experience with financial services technology – investment accounting platforms, client
    relationship management (CRM) tools and client reporting software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Experience owning processes and reviewing colleagues’ work
