About the role:
Embark is hiring for a Sr. Associate Paid Search Marketer to join the Growth Marketing team. Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Marketplace + Performance Marketing. You’ll own the tactical components of our multi-million dollar campaigns to successfully achieve (and exceed) Net Sales and ROAS targets. We’re looking for a highly analytical individual with advanced knowledge of Paid Search, and a desire to expand into becoming a Display advertising expert.
What you’ll do:
- Build and execute full-funnel marketing strategies to drive growth on Paid Search and Display, and other digital channels – owning all the process including tactical concepting, creative briefing, campaign launching, and on site optimizations
- Own daily pacing and optimizations to meet/exceed ROAS and sales targets within portfolio, with keen understanding of how each action impacts other teams’ performance with our MTA model
- Maintain and monitor key metrics that contribute to our primary targets, such as CPC/CPM, CTR, CVR, and CAC; creating dashboards within tools we have available to maximize operational efficiency
- Manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance including A/B creative tests, incrementality tests, and bidding algorithm tests
- Establish channel forecasts and budget recommendations, with the speed and ownership to adjust tactics and strategies quickly based on learnings and opportunities
- Spearhead development of strategies and analyses to drive success for the portfolio as well as overall business by partnering with cross-functional teams
- Oversee vendor relations for Paid Search and Display, and tracking of their activities
- Proactively track industry trends and new features to ensure we’re always innovating, following best practices, and hacking the ad algorithms to drive measurable impact, and pushing the “status quo”
What experience we’re looking for:
- This is a highly analytical role and you must love data analysis.
- BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Math, or related field
- 3+ years of Paid Search management in retail/DTC (where Paid Search was predominant part of responsibilities)
- Strong Analytical background and experience working with Analytics platforms (i.e. Google Analytics, Tableau, Heap) – must be comfortable with raw data, leverage data visualization strategically, and have advanced Excel skills
- Previous experience driving profitable campaigns with large multi-million dollar budgets
- Ability to support budget forecasting/bids and budgets to meet/exceed performance targets
- Proven history of developing and implementing successful Paid Search marketing strategies and campaigns, including PMax, Display, and YouTube
- Proven ability to manage multiple channels and excellent prioritization skills for maximizing impact
- Experience collaborating with Creative teams to optimize ads
- Experience with having a 360 view of our internal performance processes and creating relationships with internal stakeholders to drive results.
- Demonstrated history of increasing operating efficiency by leveraging all tools available in their day-to-day tasks
- All Google Certifications – Search, Shopping, Measurement, Creative, Video, Display
- Advanced knowledge of all things Paid Search and up-to-date with latest best practices: targeting research, landing page quality, account structure, bid strategies, attribution, etc.
- Working knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Product Feeds (Google Merchant Center), and Display advertising
- Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally with SEO and Analytics preferred

Salary range : $97,000.00 - $118,000.00
