Sr. Automation Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities • Provides technical leadership at the product team level. Mentor, guide, and provide technical oversight to Junior team members in your area of responsibility. • Ability to work independently, and manage initiatives to meet schedules in a dynamic and fast-paced environment • Skilled at communicating with, presenting to, and influencing internal customers. • Work closely with product teams and product management to understand requirements and translate them into test cases that capture all test conditions. • Have expert knowledge of testing concepts, test processes, test design skills, and testing techniques. • Specific duties and responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases against our software platforms, estimating test efforts, analyzing, and communicating test results, Peer reviews, defect tracking, and participating in day-to-day Quality Engineering Activities. • Provide enterprise-level guidance on test framework architecture, CI/CD integration, and DevOps principles as related to software testing COTS/custom web solutions. • Experience in open-source frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Jest), API testing using POSTMAN or similar tools, Testing Grids (BrowserStack), or equivalent. • Effective in written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts enabling teams to be successful. • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate and work with cross-functional teams. Flexibility to work with people from diverse backgrounds. • Ability to think on your feet, assess problems, and lead others to find well-thought-out solutions.
